How To Get Pregnant

I am 18 years old and I am in college. I have real irregular periods. Sometimes I can go three or four months without a period and ten my doctor will have to give me some medicine to make it come on. But this is my problem: After not having a period for four months i took the medicine so on february 12 my period came on then it went off on the 19. I went to my doctor and he gve me some birth control pills to try and make my period act right but I had a real bad allegic reactions so the emergency room doctor took me off of them. But then on the 26 of february my period came back on and it went off on the 4 of march. me and my bf have never use a condom since we hve started having sex. So around the end of my period we hd sex and he never ever pulls out. We continue to still have sex this even after my period went off. I could i be pregnant? can i just say for starters that it is dangerous to give mobile numbers away on the internet im just warning you that some idiots will take advantage of you putting this number on here im worried for you! and in answer to your question it might be possible that you are pregnant! but its hard for me to know for sure! the only way you can know is if you buy a pregnancy test or a couple to be sure and go and visit your doctor who will be able to give you more advice. good luck.

I have a friend who is worried that she is pregnant because she had sex with her boyfriend and the condom broke before he came inside her! She is freaking out! She is getting information from others saying that she should calm down, that there is no way that she is pregnant, but I want to know for sure. If you look on your birth control pill fact sheet, almost all of them say that the first two weeks (one for the patch, two for mini-pills) should be accompanied by another form of birth control as well. This is more important if you start birth control during the middle of your cycle, as you could ovulate before the birth control has time to regulate your system. Have her look at the fact sheet that comes with the birth control or look it up online.

If she’s been taking her birth control for more than 14 days or started it at the beginning of her last period, she should be fine.

BUT just because you are on birth control does not mean you can’t get pregnant. Birth control is not 100% effective, and it’s effectiveness goes down with the amount of body fat you have above the "IDEAL" range. How you actually take your birth control pill and any medications or supplements you take also affect it’s effectiveness.

The only type of birth control that would be unaffected by things such as body weight or medications would be an IUD.

I’m in my first and last LTR we are having sex allot. My boyfriend wants to keep finishing in me. I have been on the shot for 2 months. I want to let him finish in me but I DO NOT want to get preg or have kids EVER!

So my question is HOW DO I DO THIS????? And what are my chances of getting pregnant????? We like the natural way allot better because its waay more intimate and I can feel the pulsing…. we both love it and the sex and relationship just went up a notch and it hotter than ever! So I WANT to make this our normal sex but I DO NOT want to get pregnant ! !! !

They say BC is 99% effective but they dont say anything about the number of times the guys can come inside the gurls. IS there any diff between 5 times per month vs 50 times? IT sounds stoopid question but they DO NOT SAY they just say the TIME PERIOD is 99% effective FOR 3 MONTHS.

A 1% risk over 3 months is not much. But still – it is a risk and I want to be 100% sure my sweetie can finish inside me without me getting pregannt. I DO NOT wants kids until we are married like 30.

Does anyone know abotu the # of times or know how to make the risk go down even more? Thanks.

.The shot is 99% effective. That means if you have sex 100 times, there is a 1 in 100 chance of getting pregnant. For 1000 times, it’s 10 in 1000…etc (you can do the math). I took the shot for over a decade, had plenty of sex, and did not get pregnant.

There is ZERO, NONE, NADA, NOTHING, ZIP, ZILCH type of birth control that will give you no chance of getting pregnant at all. It just doesn’t exist. If you want that, get a hysterectomy. You cannot get pregnant if you don’t have the "equipment" for it. Otherwise, stop being paranoid and accept that there will always be a risk…always.

You can have him use a condom in addition to the shot (or whatever other b/c you may use down the road) and that will lessen the chances even more to be miniscule…but they will never, ever go away completely unless one or both of you is infertile.

Your doctor could have explained this to you…that’s who you need to be speaking to about your paranoia. You know, abortion is legal in the US, should your chosen b/c method fail.

My boyfriend and I are trying to get pregnant, we’ve been trying for a year now and nothing seems to be working, we’ve been eating healthy and timing ovulation and are both perfectly capable of getting pregnant, I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for us, positions, vitamins, anything! ok so i had surgery and was put on penecillin.
i also am on birthcontrol.
i am sexually active

but…im just wondering if there is still a chance of pregnancy due to the penicillin…

i got my period…but it wasnt the same as it usually is. alot lighter and not as constant..

also….if i am suspicious of being pregnant should i continue birth control …or could that harm the fetus..if there is one…..

sorry the surgery was just getting my wisdom teeth out. nothing major. but to fight any possible infections i was put onto penicillin

Depends on whether you use protection or not. The penecillin shouldn’t have anything to do with your period. And the fact that you had a period means that you aren’t pregnant.

My fiance and i are planning to try and get pregnant this year. I plan to stop the contraceptive pill in july this year and we plan to start trying straight away. I would like to know of those woman out their who were on the pill – how long after you stopped the pill did it take for you to fall pregnant? I have been on the pill for about 4 1/2 years.

I was on the pill for about 5 years. I stopped a year ago due to medical reasons but he still used protection till Nov’08. We got pregnant fairly quickly…i.e. Jan 09 Good luck.

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 2 days after my period ended, its not something we normaly do and i was woulndering what my chances are in getting pregnant.

It really depends on your your menstal cycle. If you are average there is not much chance of becoming pregnant that soon after your period ended.
