How To Get Pregnant

ok so i had surgery and was put on penecillin.
i also am on birthcontrol.
i am sexually active

but…im just wondering if there is still a chance of pregnancy due to the penicillin…

i got my period…but it wasnt the same as it usually is. alot lighter and not as constant..

also….if i am suspicious of being pregnant should i continue birth control …or could that harm the fetus..if there is one…..

I have been on birht control consistently since before the summer so my period is pretty consistent
sorry the surgery was just getting my wisdom teeth out. nothing major. but to fight any possible infections i was put onto penicillin

Depends on whether you use protection or not. The penecillin shouldn’t have anything to do with your period. And the fact that you had a period means that you aren’t pregnant.

Please explain too, i never paid attention in health class…

i would think that the chances would be lower when she is not on her period because the egg is farther away from the sperm..? idk

oh goodness child you should have paid attention her chances are lower she is most fertle when she is 14 days past the first day of her period. it varies between women but the egg is not father away from the sperm it has to do with the egg being released at the right time do a little research on ovulation and you will understand.

I am 20 years old and my boyfriend is 24, As far as we know we are a healthy couple. we have been trying now for 6 month but this month we decided to buy them ovulation tests you know the clearblue ones? On monday i checked and it said i was ovulating so we had sex on monday, tuesday and wednesday. What are my chances of been pregnant? Can anyone offer advice on how to get pregnant, We are still going to keep using the tests every month. =) please help!

i suggest having sex every other day… Sex before and day of ovulation will increase ur chances, sperm can live up to 5 days in you and ur egg only lives 24hours.. you both should eat healthy, no drinking, no smoking, no drugs, you should take a prenatal vitamin, also are you both at a healthy weight? not over or under? even "healthy" couples have only a 25% chance each month if everything is just right, so don’t be discouraged if nothing happens in a year, go for testing..

I have been on the pill since I was 15, and I’m 20 now.
I take it consistently, but I do not take it at the same time every day (which is recommended) and I would say I miss 1-2 pills a month.
Friday I had sex with my boyfriend. He pulled out.
On Friday I also missed the pill.

So what do you think my chances are?

1. the pill is NOT 100%…even if you take it correctly (which you stated you don’t) it will never be 100%

2. the "pull-out" method is not 100%…males release "pre-cum" which contains sperm and you never know if he truely pulled out fast enough anyway

Well feb 14th I got my period and it lasted 5 days. We had sex the 19th and the 26th. He does Pull out. Except maybe ( ) this much got in me.

I have PCOS which is cysts on the ovaries. I have irregular periods, birth control helps but my husband and I have wanted a child for some time now. We’ve tried many times and many times have we thought I’ve been pregnant, gone to the store, bought a pregnancy test and they’ve all came up negative. I know its got to be my PCOS. hi, i was just diagnosed with pcos after trying for a baby for 9 months with no luck, even tho i do get a regular period and all. my dr now put me on medication " clomid and metformin" to help induce ovulation. so i recommend you go to ur GYN they will help you. dont waste anymore time, it could be hard to conceive on ur own but not impossible.
